Exclusive Lake Hire
Venue hire £2,800
This option allows you to source your own marquee and includes:
- Use of Stocklands Lake for your wedding day plus a day either side for set up/take down. The lake has a jetty, beach area, large fire pit and ‘love island’.
- Use of our 2-bedroom Cottage for 3 nights (see the Home Page for more information).
- Includes electricity and drinking water, camp fire and logs, and use of our rowing boat and paddle boards (extra insurance may be required).
Small Marquee
Frame or Capri Marquee package £5,500
Venue hire package plus a Frame or Capri Marquee for up to 80 guests (please let us know if you’d like a quote for more guests). This includes delivery and construction of the marquee, top table, standard round tables, chairs, a dance floor, matting and uplighting.
Petal Marquee
Petal Marquee package from £6,500
Venue hire package plus a beautiful Petal Marquee for up to 120 guests (please let us know if you’d like a quote for more or fewer guests). This includes delivery and construction of the marquee, top table, standard round tables, chairs, a dance floor, matting and uplighting.
Sailcloth Marquee
Sailcloth Marquee package from £8,000
Venue hire package plus a stunning Sailcloth Marquee for up to 120 guests (please let us know if you’d like a quote for more or fewer guests). This includes delivery and construction of the marquee, top table, standard round tables, chairs, a dance floor, matting and uplighting.
Baya Domes
Devon Dome Marquee package from £8,000
Venue hire package plus stunning handmade local dome marquees. Quote includes matting, bar, tables, chair, lighting, catering tent, heating and a mobile unit to enable you to hang your personalised decorations. Please enquire for more information/detailed quotes.
Tipi tent
Tipi package from £10,000
Venue hire package plus a boho Tipi for up to 120 guests (please let us know if you’d like a quote for more or fewer guests). This includes delivery and construction of the marquee, tables, chairs, a dance floor, matting and lighting.
Please note, you’ll need to hire toilets separately (visit our recommended suppliers page or check out Exmoor Luxury Loos). For cabin-style posh loos, it is approximately £550, or around £200 for bog-standard portaloos.
Optional Extras

We have some optional extras available you may like to use:
5x whisky barrels
6x hardwood apple crates
20 x large silver birch slices for table decorations
Colourful windmills, flag poles, and other decorations (please ask).
Camping is welcome and we charge £8 per person per night.
Hire a shower cabin for £100 + VAT or a block of 4 showers for £550 + VAT.
Extra nights available at the Cottage for £100/night.
Extra days venue hire before or after event, please ask.
Upgrade portaloo toilets to posh cabin loos, £400 (recommended)
Catering/ small marquee £350
Tiki Bar, £50
8x straw bales for seating or decoration, £5 per bale (please ask if you’d like more)
6x 2m trestle tables, £5 per table
7x deck chairs for beach or general seating, £8 per chair
Let us know if you’d like to tailor your marquee package, for example if you’d prefer more or less guests, festoon lighting, extra matting etc.
You may need extra insurance cover for activities (such as watersports). No watersports/swimming to be undertaken after drinking alcohol under any circumstance.
The only other things you’ll need to organise for your reception is decoration (local seasonal venue flowers from £100), catering (est £2500-5000) and entertainment (local bands from £400) but please let us know if you need any recommendations.
You may also consider hiring our electrician to wire up external lighting and extra power points for entertainment/ caterers - this is something guests have done in the past.
We offer a wedding planning service if you need assistance with set up or clear down of your marquee so that you can relax and enjoy your big day. Please ask for details.
